Public Records Requests
Everett Housing Authority has established a Public Records Policy (see link below) in order to comply with the provisions of the Public Records Act (RCW 42.56). This portion of Washington state law requires state and local agencies to make their records available for public review. Although most records are reviewable, some are exempt from disclosure, to protect the personal privacy of Housing Authority employees and program participants, and to ensure information in those records is not used for personal or commercial gain.
Anyone requesting public records is encouraged (but not required) to make the request in writing on the EHA's request form (see link below). This form is also available at the EHA's main office. The Public Records Policy (see link below) details the process to follow for requesting records; covered topics include, but are not limited to the time provided for EHA to respond, the handling of larger requests, exempt records, and reproduction costs.
Requests for public records of the EHA, or those seeking assistance in making such a request, may contact the Public Records Officer via email.
